The Alliance of Sahel States (AES) village opened on 31 October 2026 on the sidelines of the 18th Ouagadougou International Craft Fair (SIAO). The space aims to bring together craftspeople from Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger and strengthen their cooperation.

On the second day of the Ouagadougou International Crafts Fair (SIAO), the Alliance of Sahel States (AES) village brings together craft stakeholders from Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger. Minister Serge Poda sees it as a forum for consultation and for linking crafts to industrialisation.
